About
The Bounce! Approach
Therapists at Bounce! Counseling & Coaching are not the type to sit in silence waiting for you to say something. We get involved by asking questions and helping you explore your thoughts and feelings and gain insights. But insights are not enough, we also coach, encourage, find solutions, and teach exercises, such as how to calm the nervous system and how to reframe negative thoughts.
Our therapists tailor their approach based on what you want to get out of therapy and how you like to work. We use a combination of evidence-based practices including:
• EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing)
• Traditional talk therapy
• CBT (Cognitive-behavioral therapy)
• Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT)
• Coaching
• Mindfulness
• KAP - Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy with EMDR
This hybrid approach will help you ‘bounce back’ from symptoms of worry, stress, anxiety, and depression. We can meet for therapy in our office in Pasadena, CA or online (California and Oregon).
We accept Aetna insurance plans. For all other plans we provide a superbill for you to get reimbursed from your insurance (depending on your plan)
How We’re Different
Every therapist at Bounce! Counseling & Coaching had a past life in a different career. With our varied backgrounds in business, sports, and the creative industries we understand the pressure of high expectations and juggling competing demands.
Whether it's the demands of a boss, family, or the pressure you put on yourself to succeed, we get it. We bring unique perspectives to your therapy sessions, providing valuable insights that will help guide you on your winding journey through the push and pull of work and everyday life.
Everyone at Bounce has good positive energy and believes in encouraging you on your journey and highlighting your wins.
Every Bounce! therapist has a long history of working with people from different backgrounds, cultures, and religious beliefs, and we are all LGBTQ+ friendly.
Catriona Waters, LMFT
Hello! I’m Catriona. I enjoyed many years as a successful (but stressed) marketing and public relations executive working with major brands in creative teams. As a result I understand the pressure to deliver. When I became a mom I discovered a different sort of pressure, one that is present 24/7.
I’m British, grew up in London, and attended college in Sheffield, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies and French. After moving to California 20 years ago with my family, I became interested in therapy after two of my three kids were diagnosed with ADHD. I was so fascinated by everything I learned that I decided to switch career to become a therapist. I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Pacific Oaks College, Pasadena, CA, and trained at the Family Services Agency of Burbank, CA. I have been practicing as a therapist for over 9 years.
I specialize in treating anxiety, panic attacks , depression, ADHD, and trauma and am certified in EMDR therapy. I am also a clinical supervisor to Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFTs) and Associate Social Workers (ACSWs).

Alex Maric, AMFT
Alexander is a talented associate therapist with a strong background in sports. He integrates his sports psychology experience with talk therapy to promote meaningful movement and connection to nature. By tapping into the body’s innate wisdom, he’ll help you navigate through the challenges of depression, anxiety, and trauma with strength and grace.
Through a collaborative journey, you’ll learn the transformative power of intentional movement while unlocking new pathways to emotional resilience.
Alexander loves using his passion for sports to help both teens and adults. He can meet in person in our Pasadena office, or online.
Natalie Cadario, AMFT
Hi, I’m Natalie. I use my skills and my inquiring, compassionate nature to help you get unstuck from your struggles with anxiety, procrastination, perfectionism, low self worth, and low mood.
By nature I’m a warm and caring person, traits that will help you feel truly heard and valued. I’m also assertive so I might challenge you at times to help you break free from your unhealthy cycles and work towards the life you want for yourself and the person you want to be. I work hard to create a collaborative relationship that supports your personal growth and healing. To do so, I draw on a range of therapeutic techniques, allowing me to tailor sessions to your unique needs.
I am originally from Britain and am now based in Palo Alto, CA. I provide online therapy for older teens and adults.
